Hotel Cavour-2

A walking distance from Teatro alla Scala, the Cathedral and Monte Napoleone is the Milan Hotel Cavour, which recently opened new premium suites overlooking the Cathedral. They were designed and furnished by architect Giancarlo Clementi, who is known for his love of playing with light and different materials.

We too, with our high-quality textiles, can be part of the equipment of the Hotel. Giancarlo Clementi beautifully decorated the rooms with Zimmer + Rohde fabrics, carefully chosen for the extreme elegance they provide to the room and their line structure of natural appearance. The horizontal wave movement appears as if quilted by hand, creating GABANA`s high-quality appeal from the Classic Beauty Collection. Fine linen yarns seem to float above the satin, creating the illusion of a three-dimensional surface. The single-coloured silk blanket is made from our fabric PEACOCK and comes from the Urban Jungle Collection. A special finish means this high-quality fabric hangs softly, perfect for draping. Small dots with a shimmering border are embedded on the satin background, creating an interesting illusion of depth.

But also Milan outside the hotel is worth seeing. Located in the heart of the Quadrilatero della Moda, you can get lost in the splendid Montanelli gardens and find yourself by chance in front of the stunning Gothic cathedral, witness of six centuries of history. Also the jewel of Milanese architecture should not be missed: The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II – one of the most beautiful shopping arcades in the world. Covered by an airy glass and steel construction, it shines in the purest Art Nouveau style and is frequented by locals and tourists alike.Mailand.jpgInterior Designer: Giancarlo Clementi
